The crew at Splitscreen Studios will be offering us a chance to ride on the backs of triceratops, sauropods, and other dinosaurs this Summer, when it releases 'Dino Storm', a free browser based MMO.

Think spaghetti Western meets sci-fi, and you get the idea for this game. You play the role of a Ranger, with the task of hunting down varmints who are looting, setting fire to, and generally making life miserable for the residents of DinoVille. You do this by riding dinosaurs instead of horses, and teamwork will be a big part of the game.

Of course, the game won't be completely free, with Splitscreen offering optional premium content for real cash. That way you can trick out your dino steed with lasers and other weapons. Sounds a bit like the old 'DinoRiders' cartoon from the 80's, with a Western feel.  Check out their website at www.dinostorm.com
