I left a note for myself to remember to post something in Graffiti during the month of May. Since it's the last day of the month, I guess I just made the timeline.
It's been a rainy, icky, depressing month this 2017, and all of us are looking forward to sunnier days, and most important, Movie Season! Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 ( excellent), Alien Covenant ( typical Alien stuff), Wonder Woman (the most bad ass of all the Justice League), Spiderman Homecoming, and the list goes on. We RISFC members earn a lot of movie points and free stuff during the Summer.
We also visit a few conventions, and tape segments for Sci Fi Journal. We'll be going to ComicCon in June, Connecticon and Pintastic in July, and TempleCon in August. Alas, we recently learned that RhodyCon, an Anime convention that ran for two years in Cranston, RI, is no more. The organizers have decided to call it quits. Too bad, cause it was small, just getting off the ground, and a lot of fun. I hope that someone will be able to revive RhodyCon in the future.
In the meantime, get those AAA discount tickets, and I hope to see you all at the movies!
