NBC's series 'Heroes' is being revived as a 13 episode event, sometime in 2015.
The series, which aired from 2006-2010, will return in 2015 as Heroes Reborn, NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke announced Saturday, adding that some former cast members might "pop" back in for cameos.
Creator Tim Kring will again helm the series, introducing us to some new heroes, as well as the aforementioned returning characters.
Let's hope Kring has learned from his low-ratings cancellation of the original series, ties up some loose ends, and brings us a great Heroes adventure.
Two actresses, Hayley Atwell and Camilla Luddington have already expressed interest, now there's a third actress being considered for the role of Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot film.
Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie Greene in the AMC series The Walking Dead, may have a chance to star in this film, which is rumored to coincide with the origins-style theme of the latest Tomb Raider game.
