Comic shops around the country will be celebrating Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 2, 2015.
Comic producers have released special titles of their comics, including DC, Marvel, Image, Dark Horse, and a number of independent publishers. Close to 50 titles have been produced for this event.
Not all the books will be available at your local comic shop (the shop owners have to pay for them, at a discount price), but there should be something for readers of all ages.
Many of the shops have special promotions and events, too, including costume contests, signings by comic artists and writers, and other fun stuff. Visit your local comic shop on Saturday, and pick up something free to read!
