The LEGO corporation has announced it will be producing a Saturn V Moon rocket set, and one of its largest models. The kit is over a meter tall, and will be released on June 1, at the cost of $119.99, which is not bad, considering what's included.
There are exactly 1969 pieces, to commemorate the year we landed on the Moon with the Apollo 11 mission. You can disassemble the rocket into its three stages, and it includes a Lunar Module, Orbiter, and 3 micro figure astronauts. The set will also include a booklet about the manned Apollo missions, and the fan designers who created the project.
