Adam West, best known for his role as Batman in the 1960's TV series, died on June 10, 2017. He was 88 years old.
West died peacefully surrounded by his family, and is survived by his wife, Marcelle, six children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
In the movies, his roles included The Young Philadelphians (1959), Robinson Crusoe on Mars (1964), and voiced the animated Redux Riding Hood (1997).
The actor reached a new level of fame, when he became the voice of the Mayor of Quahog on the animated show Family Guy.
