While cruising through Artist's Alley at Connecticon 2013, I came across this gem of an Indy comic called 'Star Power.' I met artist Garth Graham, who was gracious enough to autograph a copy of #1. After reading through this book a couple of times, it's one of the best sci-fi comics I've ever read.
Here's the synopsis: 'In the far future, a young astronomer on a distant space station is chosen to wield the Star Power. Now, as the last of the Star Powered Sentinels, she must protect and explore a galaxy far more dangerous and wondrous than she could have ever imagined'.
What's great about this book is it's everything you hoped for in comics: writer Michael Terracciano and Artist Graham have created a strong, likable heroine in Danica Maris.
