Don’t have cable television or live in Rhode Island? Look for our YouTube channel where we will post the show segments and highlights. It may also be possible to burn a VCD or DVD of the show. Email info (at) risfc (dot) org for more information.
We would like to welcome viewers in California, Illinois, Ohio, South Carolina, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine and South Africa where your local public access channel now has access to Sci-Fi Journal through the PEG Media website. PegMedia.org is a media transfer site for PEG (Public, Education, Government) community television stations and producers of media for these stations. This site is an easy way for producers to make their programming known and available to many stations and, at the same time, to give stations a wide variety of programming from which to choose.
History of Sci-Fi Journal
The first episode aired in January 1996 and was only half an hour long. The first year it only aired sporadically in East Providence while waiting for an opening in the statewide interconnect. In September 1997 Sci-Fi Journal was placed on the RI Statewide Interconnect A channel and has been in the same time slots ever since.
Currently the show is an hour long and is updated regularly every month across the state.
